Interelectronics Coronation 100

I picked up this 40 watt mono amp this week, it was part of a home mono system with a tubed pre and one cab housing a 15" Altec and two EV horns. I'm looking for info about the amp, it has a pair of 6l6's for output. I've been to the net with little to show, if you have any info please share. Thanks

Interelectronics Amp

The tubes are (2) 1614, 6SL7, 6SN7GTA and 5V4G. I'm looking for info because I found another and I think they could make a nice stereo setup. The problem is the 2nd one, the seller wants a lot of money for it. Any info will help.

hm, sounds Williamson-ish with that tube lineup. The original Williamson circuit was a pair of 6SN7 but you could sub one of them with a 6SL7 for more voltage gain. A 1614 is not very different in spec from an 807, which is what the original Williamson design ran. In ultralinear fashion, the Williamsons did 30-35 watts typically. Depending on the output transformer that could be a very nice amp.

I have a hand drawn schematic of a "400" it has 6L6 tubes, there is an article about Fairchild 275 transformers, that mentions Interelectrtonics as having C-core output transformers, so it should be excellent.

I'll check my Samsung for it. BTW scott Ive been a bit busy but I'll get those manuals out to you.

Yes that is the schematic, and info I was talking about.
A couple of pics would be helpful, top and bottom.
If you see any differences in value except for electrolytics, stay with the originals, as it could cause instability.Update the schematic with your values. If the plug in modules are the same numbers, it will tell you how closely the amps are related.
Is that the one from the auction site?

Yes, is from the auction site. Here are some photos.

The two plugs seem to have different number. I almost seem to ready 100/1 and 100/2.

Also, I'm not 100% sure of the tube lineup. I found the amp with 2x KT66 inside, and 2x 6SN7 in the front.

No rectifier, I'm not sure if I should use a 5U4 or else.

No multi filter cap, I am planning to use a 30+20+20+20uf 550v. I would measure the voltage at the 4 holes of the multi filter cap socket and put 30uf on the one with higher voltage. I could alternatively use an 80+40+20+20uf 550v, but I'm not sure if 80uf is too much for a 5U4. I could also use a 5R4GYZ as I have many laying around. Again, not sure if it would be a good idea.

On the front, the schematic you mentioned uses 1x 6SL7 and 1x 6SN7. I'm not sure why mine came with 2x 6SN7. Maybe the previous owner replaced the 6SL7 and used the wrong tube to replace it?

I already removed all the bumble bee, they all tested leaking. And replaced the 100uf gray cap with a 100uf 100v.

Waiting on the soviet PIO to arrive to replace the bumble bee.
