Good examples of rockin' in the kinda free world. Bringing this one forward - it's a big music festival (1966) in Poland that Synkopy61 was in but you can see the names of many other bands in some of the signs. Bands that could be out there somewhere on YouTube but I haven't looked yet -
Good idea. I found a compilation on YouTube of early European Rock and I took the names off the set list and ran them through YouTube. I found a bunch of videos.

I grew up right across the border and we had relatives and a summer cottage on the Canadian side. So I'm a big fan. I even had a gray market subscription to Bell ExpressVu for a while until the go-between in Florida got raided and shut down. Robbie something-or-other used the "Vivre Quebec Libre" quote as part of the intro montage on his "Sixties at Six" oldies show on AM 740 Toronto.
The Greek Incident -
YouTuber Alexandros Leodakhs got shut down and that disabled nine Greek links. See attached. I'm gonna try to recover mine - delete the old posts - and repost new. Note - in some cases the Greek alphabet got converted to Latin so that could affect googling.
