Hello,

My name is Bob, I am new to this forum.

Lots of hobbies, but master of none of them. :D

As you can see by my sig, one of them is my Mustang. But another is my home A/V system.

I enjoy my vintage Pioneer R2Rs as well as the newer stuff.

My system consists of:

Pioneer Elite A/V receiver (VSX74TXVi)
Samsung DLP TV (HPL6163W)
Mirage OM-10s
Pioneer R2R (RT-701)
Pioneer R2R (RT-909)
Pioneer R2R (RT-2022/44)
Technics Turntable (SL-D2)
Toshiba DVD (SD-9200)
DirecTV HD DVR (HR20-700)
Rack Mount Server running TouchTone Jukebox
All run though a Monster Pro-3500 Power Center

Everything is rack mounted in my basement.

Well, that is about it. Here are a few pictures. Still need to finish the basement, so ignore the ugly paint on the walls.

Thank you for the warm welcome guys.

I look forward to conversing with you folks. Looks like there is a wealth of experience and information here.

Love the built-in rtr setup. I wouldn't mind a Saleen myself! Welcome!:music:

Yes, I love the R2Rs. Funny story, when I first bought them and installed them, I was demonstrating them for my son (24). He is a real techy kind of guy. He says "Why don't they make cool stuff like this anymore?"

In this digital day, while it sounds good, they are not much to look at. He sat there for a long time just watching the reels spin and the VU meters bounce.

Yes, I love my sleeper Mustang with the Saleen hidden under the hood.

Thanks for the welcome.

Bob

Glad to have another Mirage user aboard. Welcome! I just hooked up my old OM9's today, had forgotten how good they can sound...........R1:music::yes:
