I posted this on the Rock Music Forum of AudioAsylum, but I don't know if you guys frequent that forum, so I'm re-posting here.

Enjoy,

Howdy Gang,

Well, I haven't said this in a while, but here goes........

I'm truely luck to live in Cincinnati!!!!

Check out the lineup for this October's Tall Stacks Festival

The Jayhawks
Creedence Clearwater Revisited
Lucinda Williams
The Del McCoury Band
Rick Skaggs
Nickel Creek
Emmylou Harris
Delbert McClinton
Keb'Mo'
John Hammond
Steve Earle and the Dukes
David Lindley
Los Lobos
Dar Williams
Mary Chapin-Carpenter
Shawn Colvin
Patty Griffin
The Fairfield Four
The Derailers
Bo Diddley
The Blind Boys of Alabama
John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers

Plus about 10-20 other National/Regional acts and a host of great local bands including the fantastic Kelly Richie Band.

70 bands in all over 5 days. And best of all $12 for the entire 5 day!!! Or $10 if you buy your 5 day pass in advance at local Kroger Stores!!!

It's great to be alive!!!!

Please, come join the fun. Is there a better U.S. concert lineup this year? Has there ever been a better $10 (in 2003 dollars) show?

If you had George Clinton or Dave Mason I would be there in a second.

I'll be in Louisville the last weekend in Sept.

Have a great time at your festival.

Regards,

Joe

PS= I'd make sure to check out " The Jayhawks"............

WOW! That is unbelieveable...

Only 6 hours from here. I'd love to see that Friday show. Killer line-up.

:scratch2: mOOn

Wow!

That's quite a line-up! Somebody deserves a lot of credit for putting a festival like that together.

Especially considering the fact that there's hardly any money left in selling CD's anymore and that the real money for the artists is in the concert performances.

Hell, I'm going to pay 32 bucks to see Allison Kraus play in a couple weeks.

The first day looks especially good, but then I am a certified nut for Cajun music-

I hope its a great, peaceful time for all!
