Had a bit of a crackpot idea; perhaps it's already been done by a DIYer.
We've seen those expensive pneumatic vibration isolation racks.
But how about using automotive hood shocks (also these can be found in some car seats) as supports on 4 corners of a shelf or platform? These shocks come in various weight ratings. I imagine the rod end can be threaded to accommodate adjustments, too.
Just throwing the idea out there...
