How do you turn this pest off? I don't see it in the preferences.

I am sure I shut it down on my other computer, still have it active on this computer.

Try this: go to the itunes store menu at the top and then click on turn off genius.

I agree, it is so irritating. When it came out, the first thing I did was turn it off!

I don't bother with any of those apps. I just put on random and let ipod do the rest.
