JBL 4435 Question

Hi, I just installed some 4435s in my studio. I have a question on which 15" speaker is the (low bass) filtered one.
On mine it is the one below the horn. I thought the mid freq driver would be located below the horn and the low bass driver would be the farthest from the horn.

Hey Steve, congrats on the 4435’s! As far as I recall the midbass unit should be the one below the horn.

Hi Don, thanks for the reply Yes that's what I thought also, the mid freq should be in line with the horn, that just makes sense to me. I had the 4430s in my last studio and loved them.

Maybe someone that has a pair can check it out and let me know.
