Brother of Dick. I remember him from, "My Mother the Car", and guest appearances on the Dick Van Dyke Show. He always cracked me up. RIP

Loved him in Coach and far funnier than his brother Dick imo. His character Luther on Coach was just as good as it gets and it always amazed me he never was nominated for an Emmy. Thanks for all the snickers. RIP

Funny guy. Just saw an episode of Coach. Jerry made it special as the assistant coach. RIP

Thanks - most people give me a blank stare when I mention "My Mother the Car". I remember the sleep walking episode on Dick's show when Jerry would call him Berford when he was asleep.

Actually Jerry was nominated 6 times for his roll on Coach.
On Dick Van Dykes show Jerry played Stacey Petrie which is also my unused first name.
Couldn't stand My Mother the Car, even though I liked Jerry, Ann Southern(cars voice) and Avery Schreiber (Bad Guy).
    RIP Jerry.

Always loved this after seeing it in the 70s on a show, then he reprises it here again , still funny. :)
