JohnVFs listening room...

Heh, I lived in a Chicago high-rise once. Well, actually, a 4-story barracks at the Naval Training Center in Great Lakes. ;) So flat there, you could see for miles even 4 stories up.

The barracks that I lived in at NAS Glenview, about an hour south of there, were "temporary", thrown together during WW II to house trainees for a few weeks. 50 years later I occupied one. I don't think there was a single thing changed. The giant steam pipes ran right through the room, just like a submarine. I had the windows wide open in January.

sadly the Quarter is always filled with drunk revelers :beer::beer: :drunk: :puke:

I would like the high rise city view but honestly I am more of a second story tree tops view kind of guy. That is a great place you have there.

Not on Ash Wednesday. It just smells bad then. ;)
