Picked up a Mac 4100 receiver yesterday from the original owner. Unit is near mint and still has the original owners manual. My question is what vintage speakers would work best with this unit? Right now i have some JBL l100's and Celestial-Ditton 442's. Is there a better fit for the 4100 than what i have? Thanks for any help

Congratulations on your new receiver, it's a gem! Lots of inputs, excellent tuner, five band equalizer, and my favorite: variable loudness, it looks good too.
You can run ANY speakers you want! I used to run three pairs of four ohm speakers with my 4100 and it only got warm if I cranked it way up.
The only limit is the 100 watts rating, I have some low sensitivity speakers that need more power to behave.
