Posting this here because Disqus.com is a reference we use here. Their App to read bar codes on LP covers, and CD jewel boxes is dead handy when digging in a used collection of recording at a thrift store.
LifeLock just reported the breach happened somewhere around June of 2012 and my sign credentials were just detected on the Dark Web. LastPass here I come.

Are you thinking of the discogs.com and the discogs app? Disqus is for discussions/commenting.

Since we are on the subject of warning. I went to Kickass Torrents and my Avast warned me they were trying to use me as a cryptocurrency mining site. Avast did stop it.

There are a number of add on’s that block Crytomining

    “No coin” for Chrome
    “Mining Blocker” Chrome, and Firefox
    “NoMiner” for FireFox
Adblock Plus works with all platforms.

Not as far as I know. I have it loaded but it has not alerted me to blocking any Crytominers.

I had the thought that if it's blocking any/all advertisement scripts that it might catch most of the crypto ones just as a matter of course.

Listen or watch Steve Gibson’s Security Now Show episodes #638 and #640 on TWiT. He gives the low down on crypto mining and how to block it. I have the root domains were this is coming from blocked by my DSL modem. Most all of this is coming from coinhive. Block their domains and you have it mostly whipped.
