KA-6100...board vs. schematic

    Sounds as sweet as she looks. Wasn't happy with the looks of the bottom panel -- I'm picky -- so we did it as well. I might make that a standard going forward. The 700M I'm working on has the bottom piece done as well. I'm going dark grey on that one and Bronze Pearl on the 9800. Looks pretty cool!

    Not quite Hopjohn's mod, but on the main filter caps, I painted the clamps textured black, lined the inside of them with low density (but not very open cell) foam, used a piece of medium density foam between them for stability, then mounted the clamps upside down. Just below the clamps are zip ties for additional support. Because the caps are noticeably smaller in physical size, it would've been fine w/o the clamps, but I wanted to put them to use.
