Hi all, I have Kenwood 11g receiver that needs repair. The left channel is out or better yet has intermittent & low volume output. The right channel plays but has a small amount of distortion. Also loses volume after playing awhile. Any help to troubleshoot is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Dbhedz

Hi Victor ... it's not crystal clear whether or not you're looking for guidance, or a tech to repair it. If you're looking for guidance, this site is community-based and when an individual is looking to repair a piece of gear, starting a thread becomes a community resource. I.e., the process you'll go through to effectuate repairs as well as help from the community, can become an invaluable source of information for future owners of your model who may also have issues. If, otoh, you're looking for a tech to repair it, we'll need to know where you're located so you'll receive good suggestions. Best of luck!

P.S. you might delete your email before spambots pick it up. the site has provisions for private messaging.

 Eventually, the 11G experts will chime in, but a logical first step is to Deoxit the volume pot and while you're at it, the other pots and switches you can get at. What's your level of electronics expertise? ...and what electronics diagnostic tools do you have?
