Kenwood KA-892

Hi my Kenwood ka-892 recently stopped it still powers on but no display and will not play. Anyone have any ideas of what I can check?

Is there usually a click that you hear coming from inside the unit after you turn it on - and is that click still happening?

Yes that click is still happening and the 2 red lights come on the one on knob and the one on the unit left side showing power on. Just display does not light up, and can’t run anything.

So you are not getting any sound from any input?

You may need to post some inside pics of the unit here to give us some idea of what may be involved.

From the front you notice the power saver light on left it is always on if plugged in. The red light on the right comes on when you turn it on. I noticed today that it blinks, not sure if it did that before, at least I never noticed if it did. The middle of unit is display as you can see it does not come on. Nothing smells I don’t see any caps that look bad or anything like that. I have a minor in electronics, so with some help I think we can do this.
