Kenwood KB-700 super low frequency drive system

Hi all..spent half the night trying to research this and could only come up with a picture from Argentina online. Wondering if anyone had heard of this model and/or used it? I’m picking up two of them later today with two pairs of KL-999z’s..I’m very curious if these are all intended to be used as a “set”?
Any information will be greatly appreciated!

Looks like an active subwoofer arrangement. Beyond that, I know nothing about it.

I’m in the same boat. Never seen these before..I’ll try them out though! Here are some pics ..

Here are some more pics..both subwoofers needed refoam..they sounded “ok” but something was amiss so when I opened them up I discovered the issue. Very interesting design ..I would have bet money that the “driver” was the 15 inch !

That’s great you found that! I have been searching on and off the last couple of weeks and only found the one pic on my first post.

It sounds really good! I have it currently matched with a Sansui 881 Receiver and smaller Sansui model LM-110 Speakers ..the bass from the Kenwood really enhances the sound. The passive did not need re-foam..it has the fabric type surround.
