I have owned this thing for ten years...it had seen very light use by it's original owner, and was part of a complete system from 1988...
Over the years, I have used it quite a bit, real happy with it. At this point, it has been narrowed down to the amp, and KC-207 preamp.
In 2009, I started having an issue - the right channel would drop out completely, totally silent, a light tap on the top of the case of the amp, and all was good again...something was loose.
Now, the right channel is no longer going silent, but it's fading in and out. There is one repair shop here in Houston, but he has enough bad and mediocre reviews on Yelp to scare me away...
Any suggestions for locals who can fix this stuff in the Houston area?
