    Hello Members -

    Kenwood KR-2600 Receiver

    Question :
When I monitor this receivers TAPE REC output rear panel jacks - the audio amplitude output stays constant
even with Volume knob increase / decreases.
    IS THIS NORMAL ?

The spec sheet reads as " Output Voltage and Impedance -Tape Record - rear panel connector 150 mV 100 ohms, din connector 30 mV 80K ohms "

    Any help appreciated.

I can't think of one that is not constant. This is normal. Otherwise if you turned the volume up or down it would affect your recording.
