Kenwood KR-725

I like buying little units that work well in a small office or study, a dorm or a bedroom. Today, I found this Kenwood KR-725 for only $15 at a local thrift. It's cute and works fine, but I can't find ANY info on it. Can anyone give me a few details regarding this thing?

Does anyone know if this series is supposed to have the station numbers light up? The dial lights up when you are close to a station on each side and in the middle when you are dead on, but the actual numbers area isn't lit.

I'm a little late to this thread, but I have one of these and couldn't find out much about it either. It's a sweet unit and delivers a shocking amount of clean power for its size. I need to break it out again and check the tuning dial for lights...

I think I remember reading something about 40w per channel, but I don't think that's right...gotta be more.

I just found one in a dumpster, took it home and plugged in some speakers and turned it on and it works! Sounds great too!

Looking very closely to eBay pics I've noticed that The 725 has a black station dial with white numbers & the 720 is silver with dark colored numbers.
