Kenwood KR-9400 Fuses

Discovered some blown outputs, replaced all of them with On Semi's, also rebuilt the main amp boards and the power supply. For the life of me I cannot find where the 8a fuse lies. I've found the two 4a the two 0.5a, and the 3 a on the power supply board. Can't find the 8a anywhere. Help would be appreciated, also what size are these fuses they seem very small.

mine has two 4 amp fuses it that spot

Exactly, mine has two 4 amp fuses there. It’s imprinted on the board. 4amp x 2. I need to know what size I order they appear way smaller than a normal 31mm fuse.

The difference is likely due to the market it was originally intended for - some had (I assume) 120V/240V switchable voltage transformers. My picture is from one I was working on and it's not here to check.

This is a handy tool to throw in your tool box for measuring fuses and so forth

Just measured they are 20mm.
