Put stainless handles on the L-09M's...they look prettier. ;)

Holy cow, some mighty fine equipment you have there! And I agree with Glenn, find some handles for the L-09's, it really dresses them up (and makes them easier to move).

The rack mounts are on standard 4" centers, so find some 4" pull handles that trip your trigger and go for it.

My L-09M's have some nice 'fat' stainless handles. Not sure if I know where to get these fat versions of the handles, but I might have bought them from Homeclick. I also used nylon washers backed with stainless washers to protect the finish of the amps around the mounting areas.

Edit: Sugatsune (Korean? Chinese?) sells a 10mm thick satin-finish stainless handle, #SWF-640. Ought to look about like mine.

Glenn, those handles look great! I had some that looked like they were off the rack handles of a Kenwood KA-907 that I really liked.

Handles sure are a good idea. These amps are FRIGGIN' heavy. I think I would want black to match the knobs. Also, a 1U handle for the L-07C would be tasty.

SoCal: Did you find them in the US or did you ship these in from Japan like theophile?

I found all of mine in the U.S. I've been trying to figure out which markets got what models. I'm sure if Theophile had seen L-09M's in his market, he would have snapped them up. OTOH, Sigma Drive models seem to be ultra-scarce in the U.S. so that tells me they may not have been exported here.

This is a great thread title, but all I see is photos that no longer exist and talk about cheesy handles on 47 pound mono amps.

I have the 09s and the 07s and hope to never part with them.

Admittedly not the prettiest setup just yet.

Trying to set up a 2.0 system for rockin out and also a 5.1 for flicks.

Currently using the 2275 as a preamp, the Imperial 7s, the oppo 95 for a source and powered by the two 09s.
