Picked up a pair of these fine speakers in perfect condition. my first pair of klipsch. Love the way they are built and the quality wood they use. After researching these on line I see a lot of people have them re capped. so I bought a re cap kit and risers for the cabinets and my ? is will I notice a remarkable difference when I replace the caps? They sound good now, the guy that sells all the reuild and parts for these speakers says absolutely needs to be changed. Any thing else short of replacing tweeters that I should think about.

As above....just replace the caps and call it good. Yes there are newer tweeters, mid horns, etc., but start here and see what *your* ears think. Bob Crites has good replacement CT120 tweeters that do have more upper end than the K-77 for sure but listen to them first and enjoy them. K-77's are a little "tender" and start rolling out fairly early.
