Marantz knob question

I need to change one the knobs for my 2265, the one in one piece not the 2 pieces tone type :tears:

Looking on ebay I noticed several offers of so called 22xx compatible knobs:
with a black line, without, full round or what seems multi facets.:scratch2:

Question: what were the standards in knobs fr the 22xx series?

Were they all the same, or differed sometimes??

BTW, any idea of source supplier fr compatible knobs?

Hello Dario,

there is not one 22xx series. Rougly you can divide 22xx receivers in at least 4 series:
First: 2270, 2245, 2230, 2215
Second: 2275, 2250, 2225??
Third: 2285, 2265.....2216
4Th: 2285B, 2265B, 2252B.....

there are at least four styles of knobs, all the same diameter. The oldest knobs have no marking on the frontface, the typical 2275 knob has a aditional mark on the front.
The 2285 knobs are slightly different from the 2285B knobs. But there is no straight rule, depending on the year the unit was built, a 2270 may have type one or type two knobs.
