Perhaps Led Zep might crack the top 25 of debut albums. Are You Experienced knocked the music world sideways. Led Zep I, not so much.

I forgot one - Get the Knack - The Knack - from beginning to end, it has some of the catchiest songs and excellent musicianship as well as production.

It would be hard to beat The Doors debut. Light My Fire was everywhere for a very long time. Break On Through, Back Door Man.

IMHO, LED ZEP I easily qualifies as one of the best debuts of all-time. It's a fantastic album!

This does not diminish the value of LED ZEP II, which I slightly prefer - despite the horribly "over-exposed" (but excellent) WHOLE LOTTA LOVE.

Perhaps LED ZEP II is the all-time greatest 2nd album of all time?

The beauty is, we can own them all and love them all - later albums included - which includes the superb new VINYL LP reissues.
(All of the new EU VINYL LP reissues are simply excellent in terms of pressing quality AND music content. Don't hesitate!)
