Grado SR-225's driven by a 10WPC class-A 6p1p amp.
Here is my headphone system:
Yaqin MS-300B amp and Sennheiser HD-570's I would like to upgrade to 600's or 650's, so far the 570's are the best I've heard from Sennheiser and I have tried many!
AKG K1000 via SS
AKG K1000 via Tube
Here's my cans! A pair of Koss HV/1A Stereophones from 1978
While these are all great pictures of very nice rigs , I am very disappointed after reading the thread title-and spraying beer all over the wife's laptop-trying to click on it left-handed.
Here are mine:
JVC HA-RX700. The undisputed king of 40 dollar fullsized headphones
I drive them with the Asus Xonar Essence STX soundcard which has a rather good built in headphone amp.
Yamaha HP-1 Orthodynamics Circa 1976, Not Electret or Electrostats, more like Maggies for your head.
I have had these for longer than I can remember. Ever since I got the Sony CD-3000´s my quest for a good pair of headphones ended.
Couple sets I like: Fostex T50RP + Koss Pro 4AA
Just my Grado SR-60's
I've been acquiring headphones for about 10 years now........here are some of my current favorites (these pics were taken from the web, I don't do pictures).
From left to right:
AKG K340 Dynamic/Electrostatic Hybrid
Joseph Grado HP-1
Stax SR-5 Electrostatics
These hooked up to my Zune 30
My Grado SR-80s, Sony MDR-V6, Sennheiser 590HDs, Stax SR-84 Lambda Jr.s, and my Sennheiser CX300 for when I want to look professional--- photos to follow!!
There's also a set of Koss beaters I use at the test bench
Nothing fancy, my Sennheiser HD-565 with Firestone Audio Cute Beyond headphone amp and the Supplier psu:
My other headphone is a Philips HP-890:
Last pic is not mine.
Here are my vintage pairs!
I got the Pioneer SE-30 mint in the box with all the original packaging just a few months ago.
I have several other models, but these are my pride and joy -
Been loving my Grado 60's lately...
My Pioneer SE-700's are my current favorite I picked them up recently for the princely sum of $3.00 at a local Garage Sale.
The wife is going to sew me a nice little Velvet wrap to go around the orignial head strap which has some wear and tear.
I also use my Koss Pro4AAT's that I received as a christmas gift from my son a couple years ago.
Shown here hangin on my fancy little headphone rack that sits to the right of my main rack there's a plasma ball back behind it.
