Found this cute little 20 watt JVC JR-S 100 at a thrift for $9.98 recently in very good condition and sounds great. I used to have his big brother a JR-S 400 @ 70 wpc a few years back.

    Photos taken before clean-up . . .

Sweet little receiver! Around 1978 vintage. I would have grabbed that too!

Thanks, I rarely find anything worth taking home at the thrifts these days. I'm going to set up a little vintage system for a friend that needs something other than the junky boombox that is there now.

Then I can listen to some good tunes when I visit. :)

I was thinking I'd do the same thing if I had found that. Very nice!

See those speakers, JVC Zero 9's. Very rare beasts. I've got a couple bucket list speakers and these are one of them.
Graz's collection is mind boggling. Google JVC Graz for a look.

I was recently lucky to find a mint one owner JVC a-x5. Very nice piece of gear. The door is intact, but won't quite fully close. Very close though.

The M-7050/P-L10 are outstanding! M-L10 power amp on my list.
Grab them if you ever get the opportunity!
