It is been going on since way before that....I am reading of how England colonized India and it talks about contacts made with local princes and Kings throught India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc...and
I have been to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, India, Pakistan, etc...I can tell you that they never had what we call a peaceful existance basically ever.
