Do you play the flac's from your computer, phone or some other device?

The FLAC's (including up to 24/192) and DSF/DSD files are all on a NAS. Although I stream from the web I prefer having my own files and being able to play them without having to go on the internet. I don't like paying money to listen to the "radio".

I can play FLACs from local memory on the phone/tablet, or from my NAS.

In the latter case, the Android phone/tablet is merely acting as a controller (a DLNA Digital Media Controller, or DMC), instructing the NAS (a DLNA Digital Media Server, or DMS) to stream to an end point (a DLNA Digital Media Renderer, or DMR).

In the former case, the phone is acting as DMS & DMC, streaming to a DMR.

The DMR might be my Denon streaming receiver, an RPi running Volumio, a dedicated streaming DMR, a PC running MediaMonkey, or another phone/tablet/media box running BubbleUPnP. Or, if I'm using BubbleUPnP as the DMC, it could be one or more Chromecast Audio dongles (allowing multi-room playback).
Wow! You've got quite the setup!
