I always admired the late 1970's Yamahas. They always struck me as having been very carefully designed. I especially like the years with the rectangular paddle selector switches. Super clean and ergonomic.

You can't beat Sansui Single Digit Series for sheer class. Very restrained and conservative in appearance.

The black Sansui integrateds of the 70's. Hard to choose a favorite: the looked changed over the years but always looked great. I don’t own any Sansuis, I just like looking at pitchers of em. Maybe someday . . .
