Lots of Sansui eye candy

I had purchased an amplifier in Japan. I wound up paying over $500 in shipping. Then I was sent a import or duty tax of $200. Besides all the broker fees and taxes. Things seem cheap when browsing around in other Countries. Oh the things we do for gear LOL

So this site is the same concept as Rinkya. Rinkya lets you declare your own shipping value BTW.....I have bought a few amplifiers from them. Shipping would usually be around $200US to get an amplifier sent to me in NZ.

At the time I didn't care, I was getting exotic stuff I could never get at home.

The only real bummer is the 100VAC for these units. No issue while you use them but its illegal to sell anything in NZ that isn't NZ voltage. Booooo.

Yes 100 volt kinda sucks. I had to load up the house with step down transformers

Yesterday I miss out on a local deal by 15 minutes, a Sansui AU-a 707MR, it was listed in a Facebook group and I check in too late. The price was right as well but its the rarity of this unit that lures me.
