Luxman LV 105 phono issue

Hi all,
After just getting my Luxman tuned up and working again (not my work), I've run in to another issue.
There seems to be a problem with the phono inputs. The sound out of the left channel is crackly and eventually fades to black. If I rotate the RCA input in the post, I can hear it get better/worse. Same if I pull it out slightly.
I've tested the TT on another amp and know the issue isn't the table. All other inputs on the Luxman work fine.

I am hoping this is a dirty pot issue but am worried it's something more sinister. Any tips? Is this a common issue?

Check RCA solder connections, especially if it's the type that mounts on the circuit board.
Google dry solder joints for pix, you will probably need a magnifying lamp to pick them up.
If in doubt reflow all RCA solder connections, AUX etc are probably also tired.

Thanks. This has just started happening with my LV 105. I press my MC button and it returns to normal but I think I will have to do as MBZ suggests.
