Guessing a hybrid.
Tube line SS output.
At first I was thinking something like a 240
(2 opts, 1 or) . Seeing the heatsink on the side, I'm thinking not the case. Sort of the anti ma230:idea:

Unless using tubes as a driver stage. Somebody does that.

Oh, one other thing. Not lovin' the tube cages. Just a matter of taste though.

MA252 is a very tricky model to photograph. It is about the size of a MC2100 for those that remember this amp. Anytime McIntosh brings out a model with a styling change many comment on the web. I would suggest you may want to wait until you see it in person as it draws you in. At the RMAF show it was a big hit with the attendees.
MA252 is the first tube preamp, transistor power amp model we have made.
