I've got my recently acquired 18 aligned and running perfect. When buttoning it up last night I noticed that there are two holes in the middle of the bottom cover for 8-32 machine screws that apparently are supposed to secure it to the bottom of the transformer shield. The screws were missing from my receiver. However, there seems to be a gap between the bottom cover and the transformer shield of about 1/4 to 3/8". Installing machine screws in the holes of the bottom cover would seem to pull the cover into the transformer shield unnaturally. I'm wondering if there were some sort of stand off studs that should be installed on the bottom of the transformer shield to take up the gap. Can anyone tell me how this is supposed to be? Thanks!
