I just got a new to me 2235B at an estate sale and I'm going to use it as a practice restoration unit since I already have 3 other units.

Any suggestions on reference materials I can check out once I crank it up...in case it needs any tweaking?

TIA for your responses!

The 2235B is one of the easier models of vintage Marantz to work on and it is a good first model to rebuild. Most capacitors are accessible without moving boards and it has an open construction that makes it easy to get to just about everything.

After briefly firing it up( we're in the middle of a thunderstorm) I will have to at least replace the display bulbs. I was planning on changing them to LED's already.

Just sold a recapped 2235b, got good money for it but still regret letting it go.
Sweet sounding and a lot of punch for 35w.
