Marantz 2275 I sure could use some guidance

Marantz 2275 Output Transistors

Picked one up in fair cond.A little on the grimy side but it should clean up nicely.Powers up but no output,opened her up and it's missing 3 output transistors.The one it has is marked S40442.So I opened up my good working 2275 and it's output transistors are Motorola SJ25517 & SJ25518 but there is no referance on the net for this part number so I suspect it's discontinued # Any one here have a newer part # and a supplier?

Best start is get the service manual for IDing the missing caps. The vellum you can get at an art store.

As for the black covering is it part of the metal case? If it is then that is normal. The woodcase slips over the receiver.

Posting pictures would help.

Did you find the part numbers for the output transistors? I checked my schematic on my 2275 and found that the part numbers indicated on it were SJ2518 and SJ2517, these cross reference to a Motorola MJ4502 and MJ802, I found these part numbers on the internet.
