Can anyone tell me more about this very powerful receiver
And also what do these units sell for as they is one on ebay germany??.
but it is black is this a multivoltage unit? I am trying to get the best receiver that I can get. But the problem I have is. Us in the uk we don't have the same choice as you guys in the states, just look at
Ebay uk (nothing)

It's a rare black faced 2385. Lots of the 2385's are multi voltage.

They sell in the $450 to $700 range on Ebay US

I'm not sure (don't speak deutsch), but it sounds like a control shaft is broken off, and patched together. Not good!
But I may not understand correctly.

2385's are super units! I have a couple 2385's, .....very cool receivers!

The problem with US spec marantz gear it is mostly 110/120v
wich is no good in the UK unless you spend a fortune on a transformer and shaver and the like do not do the job that thing must pull at least a KW.. That is why it has to be a euro version which are multivoltage. Thanx Bigyank for you reply though.
