Marantz Model 16 biasing

Hello,
I just recapped and replaced the OPTs on my Marantz 16. I replaced the old OPTs with MJ15003 and MJ15004 BJTs. I can't find any info on setting the bias or the DC offset. Anybody out there know about this? Thanks

I would think that the bias should be in the 12-16mV range. DC offset should be as close to zero as you can set it.

ChrisMarantz, thanks for your reply. I was started to wonder if I stumped or offended the forum. I set the BIAS at 14.5mV and the offset to ~0 yesterday. It seems to be working good, maybe running a little hotter than I'd expect. This coming from a guy who has mostly worked on tube gear. I'll adjust them closer to 16mV today and see what happens. Found this link containing a Marantz Service Bulletin on the 16 and 16B amps. It details how to set the Bias and measure across the emitter resistors for 15mv. There's other good info there too. See link for reading/downloading the .pdf file.
