MC-240 Sweet

I just had my MC-240 rebuilt by Terry DeWick. Not only is it beautiful to look at but the sound is absolutely fantastic! This is one sweet sounding amp which plays well with my Klipsch horn loaded speakers.

Terry's the man! He can make McIntosh sing like no other!

Yes the MC240 is one of the best vintage amps out there. I had one here on loan for a while and really liked it. Would have kept it except for the money. :sigh:

Congrats on your 240, as I have a "new" MC-225 going to him for a through going over myself on Monday!
I've found that Terry can get things out of Mc gear that seems to be a lost art with others, and he's done my MC-2105, MR-74 and I've got other pieces going to him too.
I'm excited about getting my "new" MX-110 and MC-225 back from him; it's so nice to be back into tubes again too, even though I'm going to be keeping all of my Mc SS gear too, I know my Klipsch Epic CF-4's are going to be real happy to have those tube outputs put to them!
