Hi, I love my mc2105 and never had any issues with it but lately I'm having problem with the static noise on left channel is getting worst. I've tried turning it off and tried different speakers, disconnecting the pre amp and tried different pre am but the noise won't stop. Even if you put the left gain to zero the noise is still there. The only way to stop the static is when you turn the speaker knob to Off. Please help. Thanks!

Hello
You did not say if the noise is here all the time or not
To know from where it is coming from you need to delete the botom cover , and the power heatsinks cage . One power supply is discharged you can swap the drivers boards ( left to right and right to left )
Switch the power on and listen if the noise move from one chanel to the other one . If it is the case ,the problem is here .If not the problem may come from input board (with the gain pot).
This process is easy but some owner may be affraid to touch inside their amplifier .
A tech is a very good idea .
