McIntosh Labs debuts new products at AKFest!

Last year, McIntosh Labs debuted the first working copies of the MT10 turntable, MC2301 tube monobloc, and the MA7000 integrated. Not to rest on their laurels, we have NEW gear, being heard for the first time on public display.

From Sally Goff, McIntosh Labs, via email:

"...So here is the cool part for McIntosh, Chuck will have the first working system of our 60th anniversary C22 and MC75's limited edition system, pushing the new XR200 speakers, which are just shipping and not heard outside of Venetian CES. The C22/75 system will probably be sold out in the domestic market by May, since we have only 120 units for US/Canada. The ONLY place to see and hear them, then, is AK Fest! And, for those who miss our classic MR78 tuner, we will have a functioning, brand new, never before heard, MR88 AM/FM/XM radio with a totally cool dial glass..."

So, boys and girls, if you want to be the first on your block to hear, not just see, McIntosh Labs latest pieces, you will have to come to the AKFest.

Now this is neat. I would probably never see this system if it wasn't for the show.

I can tell you from firsthand experience that the XR200's are amazing (both sound & looks), and the beauty of the limited edition re-issue is absolutely beautiful.
