McIntosh MC60 - About to buy for 1300 - worth it?

Hi all, I’m new to McIntosh tube amps. I’m about to buy these 2 for 1300. I’m unsure if they even power up or if the tubes are in good shape. They’ve been sitting in a garage since 1979. What do you think?

Unrestored as they sit worth double the asking.

Restored with some cleanup and tested matched tubes worth triple the asking.

Keep in mind they've been sitting for nearly 40 years so chances are good they'll need a recap at a minimum and the tubes should also be tested.

Congratulations. Definitely qualifies as a 'scroe'.

Unbelievable! Even if they need a ton of work, you practically stole those. Can't wait to hear what kind of shape they're in.
