Freeze spray, hit the transistors with it, you might get luck and find it that way.

This has been a tool on my bench for 40 years, and sometimes can help you find a thermal-intermittent (transistor usually) quickly and save a lot of time.

One caution is to avoid shocking components, use carefully. A shot on a hot ceramic resistor (for example) is not a good idea. Nearby components can be at risk.

If you use a known good spare amp with a volume control you could monitor the phono stage via the tape out to isolate the phono EQ gain stages from the preamp and amp stages.
