Does anyone know the difference between metal tape and capsule metal tape?

Do you mean the Maxell capsule tapes? I think capsule was a Maxell trade mark on their tape mechanism. I'm holding a Maxell Capsule UDII, I think the capsule part is the round window cassette shell.

the ones I have are typeII high bias. UDII not metal
