I first heard about this on the news. The power has been restored last time I heard about it. Safe track surge will last about a month in Virginia, too.

The alert was here and is still in my email to the manager, but the alert seems to be gone now.
Metro rail service is suspended between Braddock Road and Huntington due to a power problem outside King Street.

Sadly, not significant to the majority of members here -
I'm local and I haven't commuted via metro for years (since I stopped working in DC proper)

I spent a lot of time in and around DC between 88 and 92. I used the metro a lot and never experienced or heard about problems of any kind. They no longer maintain the system?

LOCAL politicians and several idiotic 'boards' all have their incompetent hands in it. The UNION MEMBERS are major slacks too!
