Likewise. The music is good... I am still tempted... but that is a pretty penny.

There are so many good ones. Random picks from my discogs album cover gallery here to get started..

This 2015 release by Menomena has a cool twist on the Zeppelin III spin the dial design

I always wondered who this album was by for the longest time. the cover is kind of disturbing.
Poor guy looks pretty harrowed. Great evocative cover. That soft paper cover was always trashed on copies I would come across,
was thrilled to find a fairly good one at a garage sale a few years ago.

I had had the cd a long time and looked up to see if it was available in vinyl.

Got this triple album with matt and gloss and chrome cover, closes with a magnetic flap.
fold out of interesting medieval paintings a couple years ago. Yeah, this one's cool.

These guys just looked like they were going to throw down some serious new wave rock.
    And they did.

Throw a Japanese obi on something and it instantly becomes more important looking, or stately or something.
Japanese special market release of UFO best of on one disc, and MSG best of on the second.

Fine, call me a pig, but I'd rather look at this cover than the
five sweaty shirtless guys on the eponymous US press.

This one always cracked me up because here it is, an album by dark menacing Black Sabbath,
and here's this guy in pink tights running at you with a bike helmet. See, he's a war pig.
War is no joke of course, and the album ubiquitous. Every band that played the keg parties in my area in the late seventies had Paranoid somewhere in their playlist.

    Image perfectly matches shoegaze.

any cover that can make you feel unease, wonder, comfort or just plain makes you think
is succeeding creatively in my book.

    Thank you Mr Bowie.

    [IMG][IMG]
Finely Detailed pen and ink drawings that give the eyes something to do.

This one in particular. I'm a sucker for the thick laminated covers.

This one I never liked for some reason. I mean I loved the album, I love the band, the cassette stayed in my cars deck rotation all summer.
but I have always wished it had been given a better cover. Couldn't tell you what that would look like though.

    Matches the music.

    Luke85,
As much as I dig your album cover choices, I think your gif beats any of the covers you have posted.
