MVP-891 -- My YouTube No Longer Works -- Does Yours?

Can someone with an MVP-891 try out YouTube and see if they can connect to it? My MVP-891 YouTube never gets past the "connecting" screen.

Is the YouTube app included in the MVP-891?

If so contact McIntosh and ask if they are still doing firmware updates for the MVP-891. The MVP-891 was discontinued a year or so ago. If they are no longer doing updates the You Tube app is included in the MVP-891, then your YouTube app may be out-of-date, or no longer supported. If that's the case then you're SOL.

I have the same problem and the FW update function returns a message indicating that there is no new updates avail. On that not, I am SOL as well.

Buy a Chromecast ($30.00), plug directly to the TV then you can cast YouTube from your smart phone to the TV.
During casting you still can use your phone for other activities.
