I have four systems listed in this thread. You must scroll through it to see all four.
Well I am finally getting around to doing this on what I hope to be the last MAJOR system adjustment.
Pic #2 (from top to bottom)
Harmon/Kardon hk725 preamp
Yamaha CDX560 CD player (this may be the next upgrade)
Yamaha Sound Field Processor DSP E200
Samson S 3-way active crossover (more on this to come)
Carver M-500 (for the front channel of surround sound processor)
Altec-Lansing 9444A (amp for the woofers of tir-amped Corwalls)
2X Yamaha P2050 amps (one for the mids and one for the tweeters of the Cornwalls)
Pic #1
Home made projector screen (drywall paint and velvet covered surround)
1979 Klipsch Corwalls I's modified so they are tri-amped or I can use them with the passive interior crossovers with the flick of a switch or three. I also recapped them w/ soniccap caps.
Kenwood KL-777A These are hooked up to the Carver M-500 amp (surround sound front channel)
Those AKAI SW 157 III not in use (just stored there waiting for ?)
Boston 555X center channel speaker
Not Shown in pics
Acoustic Research 215PS (rear surround speakers)
Polk Audio PSW 350 sub-woofer
Ben-Q projector.
This set up allows me to listen to my two channel system and then when I watch a movie or play video games, I switch on the Yamaha sound field processor and Philips amp and I have great surround sound.
I am really liking the tri-amped Corwall set up sound----actually I can't get enough of the music that comes from them.
Comments and/or questions welcome
