Love the F-bodys. Prefer the Pontiacs, too.

Had a '68 Firebird, a '75 Firebird, a '79/80 Camaro, and a girlfriend with a '69 Camaro.

Nice cars!

The engine looks pretty cherry. Maybe you should have the significant other call MTV to pimp your ride?

pimp your ride?
Ah,I don't think so . The last addition to the ride was re-upholstered front buckets.

um, my dad had a 1979 firebird formula 403. it was the last of it's kind before the emissions restrictions forcing pontiac to produce only 301/305's. so how do you have a 1980 firebird with a 400+ engine? engine swap or bored 301/305?

A good friend of mine had an 80 Trans Am that he yanked the tired 301 out of and dropped a VERY
healthly 67 GTO 400 in! :thmbsp:

Another friend of mine just finished restoring a 72 Formula (he claims one of only 912 built the way
his was optioned) with 62K original miles... Silver with a black interior, 400 & factory four speed. :thmbsp:

He took the 72 to an all Pontiac show recently and won a Best Restored trophy.

Nice ride :thmbsp:

I had a stock 79 Z-28 in midnight blue with the same body style, low miles, fresh paint, man I wish I could have kept it :sigh:

With 10.75 to 1 compression,Speed demon 750 cfm carb,and a 4.10 gear---premium fuel with octane boost..$$$.:dunno:

that is one beautiful gas guzzler, now if only i could find one around here... i'd probably have to sell a kidney to buy it, but i think that would be a fair trade =]

Keep lookin . When I was stationed in Iceland I saw a "74" 455 superduty Transam with Icelandic plates ,tearing up a country back road....:thmbsp:
