My first Kenwood - KT-7300

Yesterday, while doing the circuit (Salvation Army > Salvation Army > St Vincent > Goodwill) I struck pay dirt at the second SA I entered. There, buried under VHS players and junk, was a MINT KT-7300 tuner marked at $19.49! With my Sally Card, I got it for $15 and change!! Got it home hooked it to a Sansui A-9 I bought for $9 a few weeks ago at SA!

Very impressed with the tuner, great sensitivity and real nice bass. It will become my new barn/wood workshop system with a set of Rectilinear Mini's (a Goodwill find at $10). Great day in the high desert with my $34 stereo system!

Anyone know any tweaks to this tuner to have it at its best?

I just finished the last solder joint in relamping mine! GW find paid a little more than your find but isn't it a beauty? The only tuner I have that pulls it in better is the Hafler but it can't hold a candle to the looks of the KT7300 Now trying to decide what Amp to go after for it. It just looks too big ontop of the Marantz 1060.. But I do love the preamp in the Marantz.
