I found Audio Karma while searching for information on various pieces of vintage audio gear I have been purchasing at garage sale and my favorite thrift store. Like alot of you, I am finding pieces that I could only drool over at Stereo Shows in the 1970's or places line 'Top of the Hill, Daly City".
Got my have Ham license and "first Phone" in High School after seeing a neighbor's HW-101 transceiver and Marantz receiver. WOW!
I worked as a DJ and music and program director at various FM stations for years, the highlight being a start-up with ex-KFAT employees. For the past 20 years I have run my own audio and video production company.
My current hobby project is restoring a working Heatkit GC-1 Mohican that I bought for 7 dollars.
I am impressed with the 'karma' on this site, it is a fun place to unwind and learn technical stuff or hear about other Thrift Store finds.
Cheers

Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game"
