I have a 2000x and I would like to add a tube preamp. Is there a natual companion I could be looking for? I have my unit hooked up to a set of Fisher st-845. I don't have much hope that I have accidentally stumbled into a beautiful combination, but the system sounds good to me. Since I haven't heard any of the high end vintage systems I read about here, is there a way gauging the sound I am hearing? I would love to slowly improve my stereo. Thanks!
